All lines have now reopened following an earlier fault with the signalling system between Surbiton and Effingham Junction. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 21:00. Customer advice: Trains running to and from London Waterloo and Guildford via Epsom, Guildford via Cobham & Stoke d'Abernon, Woking, Chessington, Dorking and Hampton Court may be delayed, altered or cancelled. How do I get to my destination? You are advised to check your journey for any alterations before travelling, and you may be required to change to another SWR service to reach your destination. Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on the following services: Southern services between Clapham Junction and Epsom / Dorking in both directions Thameslink services between Wimbledon and Sutton in both directions Ticket flexibility: If your train is cancelled, you will be able to travel on an alternative service operated by any other participating train company , either two hours before or two hours after the original departure time of the cancelled service, in order to reach your destination. If you decide not to travel or cannot complete your journey due to cancellations, you are entitled to a full refund from your original point of sale. Engineering work is taking place in the Dorking area, closing some lines overnight. South Western Railway: After 22:00 each night, trains which usually run between London Waterloo and Dorking will be amended to run between London Waterloo and Effingham Junction. Replacement buses will run between Leatherhead and Dorking. Southern: From approximately 22:00 until the end of service on Monday to Thursday evenings, buses will replace trains between Epsom and Dorking / Horsham.
