Mapped railway tracks on the Avanti dashboard
The Avanti West Coast map now draws mapped OSM railway route shapes alongside its served stations.

Mapped track shapes
Teal railway lines come from Avanti-labelled OpenStreetMap train-route members, not road routing or straight station-to-station connectors.

The overlay uses the existing local Overpass service, checks the cache monthly on use and shows the underlying mapping date separately. Station information survives an overlay failure.
